Can you feel it? No, not the dread of an impending anniversary which will not be uttered here, but the hopeful hint of spring in the air.

To celebrate a renewed rush into agreeable temperatures, fitness app Strava is collaborating with The North Face to inspire a mass migration from the stale, musty confines of our apartments to the wide open playgrounds of the great outdoors.

As part of The North Face VECTIV Power Further, Together Challenge, Strava users have from now until the end of March to run, hike, virtual run, or wheelchair a total of 100 km—or, 62.1 miles—to be entered to win an array of prizes from the outdoor apparel behemoth.

“All athletes will receive The North Face digital badge upon completion, as well as the ability to enter for a giveaway, for participating countries, with the latest VECTIV™ technology running shoes, Futurelight Flight Jacket, and Base Camp Duffel Bag,” Strava reps said in a release.

The North Face’s new VECTIV line includes sleek men’s and women’s trail runners and hiking styles that range from $140 to $200. The Futurelight Jacket and Base Camp Duffel are valued at $280 and $120, respectively.

Cumulatively, the partnership is hoping to field enough entries to cover all 148.3 million square kilometers of Earth’s land surface area. To help reach that goal, app users are encouraged tackle the 100 km anywhere from the most obscure trail to a busy city street or treadmill.

Secondary rewards will become available for every 20 km benchmark, the release said. Additionally, hidden trail segments and supplementary prizes have been included by The North Face for users in Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, Boston, and Chicago.

“Calling all you trail warriors,” the release said. “Weekend adventurers and elite athletes, too. Let’s run and explore. Go further on the trail and get deeper into nature. Together.”

Do you have what it takes to make it to 100 km by the end of the month? The clock is ticking.

Download the Strava app for free and find The North Face VECTIV Power Further, Together Challenge under the Strava Challenges section. Eligible activities include those with privacy settings visible to “Everyone,” “Only You,” and “Followers,” the release said.
