Bestia is the latest hot spot to open in the once-gritty Arts District. Started by the husband-and-wife team Ori Menashe and Genevieve Gergis (he’s the chef, she’s in charge of sweets), Bestia specializes in rustic pastas, like perfectly al dente hand-rolled pistachio fusilli with goat meat ragù, and housemade charcuterie served with dollops of housemade green mustard. Leather booths under meathook chandeliers add to the raw industrial style.
