Bring home a bite of Half Moon Bay this weekend

In December we sent you to Via Uno in Half Moon Bay, California for fresh, delicious Italian food. If you took our advice, you probably remember the tasty sun-dried tomato tapenade that’s served with housemade bread. The tapenade has a brighter flavor then most sun-dried tomato spreads we’ve had before, and diners love it so much that they want to take it home. Now, you can! Specifically, in 4-ounce jars available for $5.95 at the restaurant. At home, I toss it with pasta for a quick dinner; I also like it as a sandwich spread. Via Uno’s tapenade-to-go provides a great excuse to return to this family-run restaurant—and if you’ve never eaten there, a good reason to visit next time you’re in Half Moon Bay.
