This is a delicious, simple way to cook mushrooms for many different purposes--from topping pizzas to filling omelets.

 

How to Make It

Step 1

Trim any tough stems from mushrooms and wipe caps with a paper towel if dirty. Cut bite-size.

Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic; sizzle a few seconds. Add mushrooms and salt and cook until starting to brown, 5 minutes (add a splash of water if browning too fast).

Cook over low heat, covered, 5 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley.

 2 tablespoons olive oil
 2 small finely chopped garlic cloves
 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
