Pine-Nut Salad Spears

Serve this wine-friendly, snackable salad at cocktail parties when you want something fresh and crunchy alongside all the rich bits.
How to Make It
Step 1

Crush 1/3 cup nuts into a paste using a mortar and pestle. Add mustard, vinegar, shallot, honey, salt, and oil; mix until blended. Chill lettuce leaves until ready to serve.
Step 2

Put lettuce leaves on a platter and drizzle with dressing, then sprinkle with cheese and remaining nuts.

3 tablespoons finely shredded parmesan cheese
