How to Make It

In a bowl, combine beef, falafel mix, and 3/4 cup water; mix well. Shape meat into 4 equal patties, each about 3/4 inch thick.

Set a 10- to 12-inch nonstick frying pan over high heat; add oil and tilt pan to coat bottom. When pan is hot, reduce heat to medium-high and add the beef patties. Cook until browned on the bottom, 4 to 5 minutes; turn with a wide spatula and cook until browned on the other side, 4 to 5 minutes. Continue to turn for even browning until meat is no longer pink in the center (cut to test), about 4 minutes longer. Season to taste with salt.
