We love a recipe that starts by asking you to drink some of the ingredients straight. (Well, how else would you make room in the can for the other elements?) Sake puts a twist on the classic French 75 cocktail.

How to Make It

1

Take a big swig of the sake (around 1/3 of the can), reseal lid, and put in the freezer overnight.

2

When ready to make, remove the can from the freezer. Shake it so the frozen solids combine and become slushy.

3

Add the juice from half a lemon to the can with the simple syrup. Shake again with lid on, remove lid, and fill to the top with sparkling wine.
