This hot dog is a game changer, folks. The first time I had one, I almost lost my mind. Imagine a hot dog wrapped in bacon, topped with pinto beans & grilled onions and then garnished with chopped tomatoes, onions, jalapeno sauce, mayo and mustard with a side of grilled chiles and you have yourself a Sonoran hot dog. This southwest twist on the classic originated in Tucson, Arizona but can sometimes be found at little pop up stands on the streets of San Francisco’s Mission District. Run, don’t walk.
