The flavors are just right and the pumpkin puree makes them moist and a beautiful deep gold. We all agree the star of this recipe is the ginger butter. The recipe calls for canned pumpkin puree, but if you have fresh pumpkin it’s easy to make your own. Follow our recipe for mashed pumpkin and use a blender, food processor, or electric mixer to turn it into a smooth puree.
