“Navigating Four Horses North of the Bay”, an account of horse driving in Sonoma County by adventure writer and pioneer magazine journalist Jack London.
“A San Francisco Pleasure Cure” by Sinclair Lewis, the Main Street novelist who eventually earned the Nobel Prize in Literature.
“West Goes East” by Erle Stanley Gardner, best known for penning the Perry Mason detective series.
