See the throngs of shoppers lugging bags up the hill to their Union Square hotels? They don’t know that the Hotel Zetta, downtown’s
biggest hotel to open in years, puts you smack in the middle of mid-Market and SoMa, a few short steps from the Westfield
Centre and its who’s who of retail titans and food-court celebrities. They don’t know about the 116 guest rooms that feel
more like a hip city flat, with patchwork rugs, denim-upholstered wing chairs, and mini bars tucked inside steel apothecary
cabinets. And they certainly have no idea about the hotel’s subtle nod to quirky fun: the giant Plinko board mounted on a
lobby wall and a game room tricked out with flat-screen TVs, billiard tables, and shuffleboard.
