The Lafayette Hotel & Swim Club’s star-studded history goes back to 1946, when Bob Hope was its first guest. The refurbed hotel has a Southern colonial meets hipster vibe with parasols suspended from the lobby ceiling and rocking chairs set up on the pool-view veranda.
