These Mocktail Recipes Went Viral—And They’re Perfect for Your Next Party
TikTok is the gift that keeps on giving.
Reporting live from my third trimester of pregnancy, I can say that one thing I miss is a fun, colorful cocktail. It’s not necessarily the alcohol, but rather the experience of looking through an extensive menu and choosing the best-sounding one, preferably with a punny name. There are some restaurants with an elaborate mocktail lineup (shoutout to The Pink Cabana in Indian Wells, California), but most places just ask me to tell them what type of non-alcoholic drink I’m interested in.
Thankfully, I’ve discovered my new favorite TikTok account—The Mindful Mocktail, run by creator Natalie Battaglia—which provides a bevy of beverage ideas and comes in handy when decision fatigue strikes.
Whether you’re pregnant, sober-curious, or simply live an alcohol-free lifestyle, there are so many delicious mocktails you can prepare after a long day of work or at your next gathering. People also tend to get more interested in whipping up mocktails during Sober October and Dry January, which are known for encouraging you to go booze-free for the month. So, if you’re thinking about participating, or just want a go-to that’s alcohol-free, here are some of the best, most viral mocktails on TikTok:
Apple Caramel Mimosa Mocktail
@themindfulmocktail Let’s make an Apple Caramel Mimosa Mocktail 🍂🍁 Pour equal parts non-alc sparkling wine and apple cider into a champagne flute rimmed with caramel sauce and cinnamon sugar – BLISS. Ginger ale is a great alternative if you don’t drink sparkling wine. Cheers and enjoy! #mocktails #soberseptember #nonalcoholic #alcoholfree #sobercurious ♬ baby im yours by cass elliot – ✧⋆˚ 𝚙𝚑𝚒𝚊 ⋆｡✧
Your upcoming booze-free brunch requires this one. It combines equal parts non-alcoholic sparkling wine and apple cider, which are both poured into a champagne flute with a caramel sauce and cinnamon sugar rim.
Cucumber Elderflower Spritz

Skip the St. Germain and prepare this refreshing mocktail, which includes cucumber juice, elderflower cordial or syrup, lime juice, and dry, non-alcoholic sparkling wine or soda.
Peach Basil Tingle
@themindfulmocktail Replying to @Shay Peach Basil Mocktail 🍑🌿 2 oz/60ml peach puree* 1 oz/30ml lemon juice 6-8 basil leaves 1/2 teaspoon honey Top with kombucha or soda Place peach puree and lemon juice in a shaker. Add basil and muddle very gently. Place the honey with half a teaspoon of water into a small dish and microwave briefly (5 seconds max!), then mix with a spoon to create a quick honey syrup. Add the syrup to the shaker with some ice, replace the lid and shake well. Strain over ice and top with your choice of kombucha or soda (I love ginger kombucha for this recipe). Garnish and serve. #mocktails #soberoctober #ocsober #sobertober ♬ original sound – J.CABB
When one of her followers asked for a drink that could incorporate their freshly grown basil, here’s what she came up with: a mocktail with peach purée, lemon juice, muddled basil leaves, honey, and kombucha or soda.
@themindfulmocktail Try this low sugar mocktail that can also be made as a punch – just increase the quantities and serve in a pitcher ✨ #mocktails #mocktailrecipes #dryjuly #nonalcoholic #nonalcoholicwine ♬ Barbie World (with Aqua) [From Barbie The Album] [Extended] – Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice & Aqua
Toss the tequila and create this low-sugar beverage. All you need is grapefruit juice, lime juice, soda water, and alcohol-free rosé. The result? A pink drink every Barbie will love.
These are only a handful of the many mocktails Battaglia has shared to her combined 262,000-plus followers on TikTok and Instagram. She’s also gearing up to publish a book, and you already know that I’ve added myself to the waitlist.
