The Winners of the 2021 Sunset International Wine Competition
The judges tasted. And tasted. And tasted. And now they’ve picked the winners in the West’s hottest wine competition.
Thousands of bottles. Hundreds of wineries. And 41 judges who had the unlucky task of selecting a handful for Best of Class honors in the 2021 Sunset International Wine Competition. We’re kidding, of course, about the “unlucky” part—until it came down to choosing top honors, because that’s the one part that wasn’t easy. But in June, our expert panel—which consisted of winemakers, master sommeliers, wine journalists and others—sampled each entry in this year’s competition to pick the best red, white, rose, cider and more. Starting with Best of Show, here’s our comprehensive guide to the best wines of 2021.
