The Napa Valley Wine Train’s restored vintage railcars have carried oenophiles along the tracks with pours aplenty for over 150 years. This summer, it’s rolling out a new experience for beer lovers to get in on the action.

The Hop Train will offer a two-hour journey through wine country with craft brews from the local Napa Palisades Beer Company along with elevated bar snacks in the train’s Open-Air car. Brews include their citrusy Loco IPA and signature 1849 Gold Rush Red Ale, with snacks like chipotle chicken tacos and smoked duck sliders. The Monday night journeys trump your typical happy hour, traveling from Napa through the scenic valley before turning around in Rutherford and arriving back at the station by 7:45pm. For San Franciscans, the company also offers roundtrip transportation to and from the city.

The weekly series kicks off on June 18, and is expected to last at least through the end of the year. Tickets start at $75, and can be preordered online.
