From French Fries to Fashion

Our obsession with food trucks (and trailers) has been widely documented, but for those looking for a mid-afternoon makeover instead of a macaron, fashion trucks are where it’s at. A few of the best places to buy your kicks near Route 66.
Le Fashion Truck, created by Stacey Steffe and Jeanine Romo, has been a haven on wheels for Los Angeles fashionistas since 2010. You can find clothing by local designers, handmade jewelry, handbags, and even a dressing room in this pretty pink mobile boutique.
Allison Norris and Amanda Linton of The Kippy Ding Ding peddle vintage clothing, unique jewelry, colorful accessories, and cool things for your home around the Seattle area. The Kippy trailer is also available for private events, art openings, and bridal showers.
Part of thrill of shopping at Gladys, Dottie Angel’s adorable airstream pop-up shop in Sammamish, Washington, is that you never know what kind of vintage or handmade treasures you’ll find. From retro thermoses to hand-sewn quilts and painted clogs, her airstream is a temple of craft and color.
