This is the fanciest way to eat in a car.

Usually when you eat in your car, you’re probably having fast food or another quick-service option. But have you ever had a multi-course meal from a buzzy, critic-loved restaurant? Cadillac wants to change that.

In January, the car brand offered a limited-time luxury dining experience at COQODAQ in New York City, where lucky diners enjoyed a five-course dining experience in the Executive Second Row of the Cadillac’s electric full-size SUV, the ESCALADE IQ. Table settings were placed on the seven-seater luxury vehicle’s stowable tray tables; a song pairing for each dish was played through the 40-speaker audio system; and a virtual fireplace was displayed on the car’s rear infotainment screens.

This month, Cadillac is bringing a similar experience to Los Angeles by partnering with Italian-American restaurant La Dolce Vita in Beverly Hills. Diners can enjoy the popular L.A. restaurant’s classic dishes in an ESCALADE IQ, with other fun surprises. The menu includes Trunk-Side Caesar, Big Eye Tuna Tartare, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Branzino Piccata, and Cannoli Ice Cream. And another treat? Cadillac is picking up the tab for the whole thing.
