Beer tasting notes: Our homebrews haven’t fizz-led out

So how did our homemade brews hold up? Pretty darn well, as it turns out. We sampled them at the Winter Feast this past Tuesday.

The wheat beer retained its fizziness, which was surprising because of its age (3 years!), and it tasted nice and crisp. Not stellar, but still “better than a Bud,” as Margo put it.

Our ale fared even better. It was full-bodied and well-balanced, and it, too, retained its carbonation (after 2 years).

Not bad for a bunch of amateurs.
