Inspired by a small pizzeria in Naples, Italy, Tony’s Pizza Napoletana is San Francisco’s landmark dining destination from award-winning chef and restaurateur, Tony Gemignani. Opened in 2009 in the historic Italian American neighborhood of North Beach, Tony’s Pizza has earned international acclaim, winning first place for the United States in Italy’s 50 Top Pizza Competition in 2021 and awarded sixth worldwide in 2024. The restaurant is known for serving an array of hand-crafted pizzas, authentically styled in Neapolitan, Classic American and Italian, Sicilian, Pizza Romana, New York, Grandma, Detroit, Coal Fired, and St. Louis traditions, in addition to Italian American classics such as house-made pasta, Chicken Parm, subs and calzones, as well as craft cocktails and a curated selection of California and Italian wines.
