Paradisaea opened at the end of September 2022 and plays host to a cultivated dining experience in San Diego’s coastal neighborhood of Bird Rock. Located within the iconic local landmark “piano building,” the restaurant is outfitted with floor-to-ceiling windows and accented with vibrant colors and custom furnishings. Helmed by Executive Chef and Culinary Director Mark Welker, Paradisaea fuses eclectic flavors with sustainable and locally sourced ingredients to create a menu that offers authentic contemporary California cuisine, rooted in classic techniques. Paradisaea’s drink program offers a highly curated cocktail and liquor list alongside a sommelier-selected wine program and locally sourced beers.
