Located within The Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club in Waikiki, Mahina & Sun’s is an award-winning restaurant helmed by Kānaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) Executive Chef Erik Leong. The menu highlights the evolution of Hawai‘i’s comfort foods, offering travelers a distinctive taste of the islands and locals a sense of nostalgia. Mahina & Sun’s celebrated bar program is led by Bar Czar, Christian Taibi. Taibi crafts cocktails using locally sourced ingredients to make in-house juices, syrups, and tonics, each infused with unique New York style and technique. His selection includes refreshing tiki cocktails, such as the ‘Kahiko,’ a Hawaiian spin on an Old Fashioned, and the ‘Hanalei Moon,’ a rum punch infused with island spices and juices.
