Huttopia Paradise Springs
Set on 150 acres in the heart of the San Gabriel Mountains in the Angeles National Forest of Antelope Valley, Huttopia Paradise Springs is a former Old Hollywood hideaway that now brings creature comforts to families, friends, and couples. The French-family owned site is a sort of bare-bones “glamping” concept that is different from how we see it in the U.S.—providing travelers with creature comforts that go above traditional camping to make it more approachable, but not so comfortable that you’d rather stay in your tent than be immersed in nature. This looks like no wifi outside of the main lodge, but electricity and full bathrooms in certain accommodations. The site offers outdoor adventure activities and quintessential French camping cuisine at the on-site restaurant—from espresso and crêpes to handmade brick-oven pizza and French wine.
