Egyptian Motor Hotel

A time capsule rich in early mid-century history, the Egyptian Motor Hotel has been brought back to life on its original turf where it once operated over 70 years ago on Route 66. The retro-modern hotel, which opened in January, is clad with 49 guest rooms (including an Airstream Trailer), 250-seat entertainment venue, outdoor games meant for adults, and the first brick and mortar restaurant by Chilte, Phoenix’s beloved pop up and food truck serving new-wave Mexican fare. Guest rooms are designed as vibrant, modern crash pads with a nod to the property’s extraordinary past. It’ll be a Gas.
