Bauman’s on Oak
Bauman’s on Oak is a one-of-a-kind love letter to the world of cider in Portland, Oregon. Guests can enjoy 30 taps (including rotating ciders, beer, and wines curated from other local makers), table service, downtown patio views, and a deeply felt menu that reflects the seasons and the ciders. The food program is intentional, simple, and layered with flavor and texture complexity, built from hand-made processes and fermentation practices. The heart of the restaurant is inspired by Bauman’s Cider Co Founder and Head Cidermaker Christine Walter, and her memories growing up on her family’s century farm and orchard in Gervais, Oregon, where they still grow farm produce, berries, and the apples used throughout Bauman’s cider program. This is not your typical taproom—instead, Bauman’s on Oak offers an elevated tasting experience and restaurant that celebrates cider and the community of passionate people who make it.
