    Park City, Utah

Ski towns have long been about much more than a day on the slopes. Park City, Utah, just happens to be more fun than many others; the winner for best adventure town has a gently sloping Main Street lined with shops and farm-driven eats. Nearby is the kind of rugged wilderness you might otherwise have to pitch a tent to access: Within a 20-minute drive, you can be fly-fishing on the Provo River, rock climbing in the Wasatch Mountains, or hiking around a half-dozen state parks. Plus, in 2015, the linking of Park City Mountain and Canyons Resort created even more of a winter playground for various activities.
