The Sunset Travel Awards 2019 Are Open for Nominations
Come nominate everything from the best restaurants and hotels to your favorite yoga studios, dog parks, and dive bars
We are beyond pleased to open up nominations for the Sunset Travel Awards 2019, our quest to find the very best of the West. As we do every year, we’re seeking the finest hotels and restaurants, tourist attractions and festivals, suburbs and cities—the places and phenomena worth flying, driving, biking, or hiking to across the 14 Western states and into Canada and Mexico. Submissions in our Where to Go, Where to Stay, What to Do, and Where to Eat & Drink categories cost $250 per entry and will be vetted by Sunset’s editors, with the awards announced and featured in our July 2019 issue.
We are also once again hosting the Reader’s Choice Awards, in which you get to share your wisdom and passion with us. We want to know what you love, from your favorite beaches and ice cream shops to the best dog parks, drive-thrus, and dive bars. Who’s the best Instagrammer? The best sports mascot? Entries are free of charge, and when the nomination period is over, we’ll select the best picks and put them up for an online reader vote.
