Punching way above its weight class, the Yellowstone Art Museum brings an ambitious array of contemporary art to Billings, Montana.

This time, it’s Floyd D. Tunson: Son of Pop, an exhibition devoted to the Denver-born artist. Although much of his work focuses on race and politics in his, and our, lifetime, one highlight of the show is the room-size installation Pop-Up Rodeo, a gentle reminder that the ranges were ridden by cowboys of all colors. $6; through Jun 14; artmuseum.org.
