When planning a romance-infused escape from the daily grind, there are a few key things we crave in a hotel. Judging by the following, we’d say the Korakia Pensione in Palm Springs has it going on. (Doesn’t hurt that fall is a prime time to visit the desert.)
1. An extremely high ratio of beds to guests, check.
2. At. Mos. Phere. Check. (The flicker of flames in the patio fire pits is particularly enchanting after a late-night dip in one of the two pools open 24/7.)
3. Afternoon Moroccan tea service, foreign films playing on the outdoor screen, fresh fruit and flowers in the rooms, and lots of drapey white curtains. Check x 4.
Korakia, you sexy thing. Barry White would be pleased. (Rooms from $159)
