A restaurant known for fried chicken and burgers on a street more famous for sushi is bound to stand out. That’s just what chef Ernesto Uchimura intended when designing the Japanese-meets-Southern menu in the heart of Little Osaka. The smoky fried Jidori chicken is available as a dish or sandwich, with spicy green pimento cheese, duck breast ham, yam preserves, and pickled okra. The baked crab dip is a good way to kick off the meal.
