Delta Partners With Airbnb to Offer Bonus Miles to Guests and Hosts

Delta Air Lines is partnering with Airbnb to give rewards to SkyMiles members who book or host on the short-term rental service.

Members of the airline’s loyalty program can get one mile per dollar spent on qualifying Airbnb stays, up to 1,000 miles and a $25 Airbnb coupon code if they are first-time guests on Airbnb, and up to 25,000 miles for first-time hosts, according to the airline.

“This partnership brings together two innovative brands focused on delivering superior travel experiences across the globe to customers,” Sandeep Dube, Delta’s vice president of customer engagement and loyalty, said in a statement.

Delta has also signed on to be the exclusive airline partner for 2016’s Airbnb Open, Travel Week reported, which is the company’s annual conference and will this year be held in Los Angeles.

Delta is the largest U.S. airline to partner with Airbnb. Internationally, Lufthansa, Fathom, and Amex GBT also work with Airbnb.
