3 slices of blood orange, rind removed
2 basil leaves
2 fl oz Madre mezcal
1 fl oz fresh squeezed lime juice
½ fl oz agave syrup
Garnishes: blood orange wheel, Tajín seasoning, salt
Muddle blood orange and basil in shaker. Add other ingredients (except garnishes) and fill shaker with ice. Shake. Strain over ice in a rocks glass with a half-rim of Tajín and salt. Garnish with blood-orange wheel.
