Sunset Teamed up with Pendleton on a Limited-Edition Blanket—Here’s How to Get It
It’s a collector’s item.

It’s one of the best times of the year for architecture buffs: Modernism Week is here and runs from February 12–23. The annual 11-day festival highlights midcentury modern architecture, art, interior design, landscape design, and vintage culture in Palm Springs, California. Sunset is a proud supporter and sponsor of the celebration.
Everyone’s favorite desert getaway is also home to our next Idea House (coming this spring). And while we’re hard at work on putting the finishing touches on the space, we’ve teamed up with our friends at Pendleton to launch the first-ever commemorative Sunset “Idea House” blanket.

Pendleton
The one-of-a-kind blanket features artwork from a 1932 cover of Sunset—and it’s handcrafted in the United States. Two enduring Western brands teaming up on a limited-edition release? Consider it a collector’s item!

To get your hands on this blanket (retails for $329), head to the Destination PSP shop (170 N. Palm Canyon Drive) or their pop-up shop inside the Hyatt Palm Springs (285 N. Palm Canyon Drive) during Modernism Week until February 23. Destination PSP produces unique, originally designed merchandise, like souvenirs, apparel, poolside ware, decor, housewares, and more—all of which reflect the midcentury heritage of the Palm Springs area. It’s the exclusive retail partner and merchandise creator for Modernism Week.
If you can’t make it to Palm Springs for Modernism Week, but still want a blanket, don’t worry—you can also buy the blanket through Destination PSP’s website here until February 23. And soon it will be available on Pendleton’s website—stay tuned for information on that!

A portion of proceeds from the sale of the blanket will go to Modernism Week, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Something that keeps you cozy and helps an organization? A win-win.
