Leatherman, first founded in Portland in 1983, started with a pretty simple idea: create a capable, easily portable hand tool with multiple functions. Now, they’ve got a cadre of multi-tools on the market, which can admittedly be daunting to decipher, even if you’re a gear head. I first came across the Skeletool CX on set when I used to work in production.
