Measuring 8.75" x 5.25", and laser cut from Oregon black walnut, this flower press—a collaboration between Pistils Nursery and local designers in Portland—is small enough to take on day trips, but large enough to fit a wide variety of specimens. The distressed brass hardware and hand-drawn balsamroot add thoughtful detail to the durable yet beautiful press. It comes with enough cardboard sheets and velum blotter paper to create six drying compartments. Your specimens will be dry—and ready for mounting onto cards or into frames—in 3 to 4 weeks.
We love the sturdiness of these thick wooden planters, paired with the daintiness of a succulent or air plant. Vessels come with a small glass planter and rocks for drainage and top dressing. Each planter is made to order and one-of-a-kind.
From the tasseled Blue Bird (pictured) to the leopard print Wren to the timeless Blackbird, Birdies has elegant slippers for every style. While they certainly make cold mornings downright enjoyable, they also add a touch of sophistication to even the coziest pair of sweats.
These delicate porcelain cups stand out thanks to their granite-inspired laminate finish. Sure, you could drink out of them, but why stop there? Candle holder, succulent planter, or low-key catch-all – these cups are at home in any room.
Remind your friends of the good in life with this pink-hued print from Denver artist Kelsey McNatt. Pick out a frame while you’re at it and have it arrive fully assembled and ready to hang. And on that note, may we suggest the space over the bar?
