If there’s one thing we enjoy almost as much as houseplants, it’s subscription boxes—that’s why we’re over the moon for these plant subscriptions. You can select specific plants and how often you want new plants to arrive based on your growing conditions. It can be tricky to choose which subscription is right for you, but the good thing is they all share the same mission: bringing the joy of growing houseplants to as many people as possible.

For Houseplants

The Sill has different options oriented to special growing needs. It’s more expensive, but plants come in display-ready earthenware pots; you choose the color (from $35/month; requires 3-month commitment).

Horti starts you with easy plants and gradually increases the plant fussiness as your skills build. Subscriptions are customizable by growing needs and pot color, plus they offer curated gift kits ($25/month).

House Plant Shop comes with fun random gifts like fertilizer, terrariums, and pots. They have aquarium plants too and even offer a monthly herb subscription if you like to eat your houseplants (from $12/month)

Lunarly is shipped monthly so you receive a fresh vibe on the new moon, and it includes a new plant every other month to go with the box’s crystals and essential oils ($40/month or $110/3 months).

For Succulents

Succulent Studios offers a wide range of succulents grown in Southern California (2-plant monthly subscription $17/month).

Leaf & Clay also offers adorable ceramic pots to hold the succulents they deliver ($16/3-plant monthly subscription; heating pad available for extra charge).

Succulents Box also has air plants to go with the 200 or so varieties of succulents on offer (from $5/month for one plant up to $228 for a one-year 4-plant/month subscription).
