To try this at home, choose two paint colors from the same paint strip to ensure they won’t clash. Then roll or brush the colors on in in layers, embracing the imperfection of it all.

An early-morning wake-up call to hit the surf requires a breezy place to nap it off afterward. An outdoor lounge is just the thing (for those of us who prefer to watch the waves roll in from our beach towel, too). Think daybeds with soft mattresses, a vintage rug spread directly on the ground, and lots of pillows.
Just-Right Furniture
Here’s where the Venn diagram of boho decor and surf-shack style overlaps: furniture made from rattan or grass. These carefree pieces visually lighten up a room that might otherwise be weighed down with wood furniture and lots of textiles.
