Have you ever started mixing something in your KitchenAid and accidentally put the on speed too high?
If you have, then you’ve probably had a bunch of the mixture fly out onto your work surface. It can also happen if you’re mixing a large amount of something and the bowl is too small.
Here’s a quick tip that professional bakers use: Before you start mixing, cover the bowl and the machine with a towel. It will catch most of what tries to escape the bowl.
If you’re worried about getting your towel stained, you can also use a large piece of plastic wrap. When the mixing is done, just pull it off and discard it.
It’s so simple and makes clean up a snap.
