Throw all those preconceptions out the window and you’ve got Stake Chophouse & Bar, a breezy restaurant that replaces all those clichés with cream leather chairs, a glowing quartzite bar, and a large firepit on the terrace. The classic steakhouse menu is reimagined too. You’ll find the standard primo cuts (Japanese Wagyu and dry-aged bone-in rib-eye), but there are also seared scallops with beurre noir and market-driven sides like fire-roasted carrots with cumin and orange zest. Purists can relax—there’s still a wedge salad, upgraded.
