Pickling and preserves are Jessica Koslow’s passion, so the Long Beach native opened this jam-centric Silver Lake cafe in fall 2012. A former pastry chef, Koslow capitalized on California's great year-round growing season and variety. The cafe offers jam-making classes that now have a cult following. Students range from aspiring jam makers, to foodies looking for a fun class, to pros wanting to bring back skills to their kitchens.
