The bar at Restaurant 1833 is a must. It’s in the old Stokes Adobe, a historic building right next to the library. Walking into the restaurant is like stepping into a museum— glowing white onyx bar, plush velvet armchairs. Try the barrel-aged cocktails, especially the negroni. The bartenders will mix up a big batch of cocktails, age them in white oak barrels, then bottle them for the evening.
