Housed in a downtown architectural anomaly—a stucco cottage at Second and Main— Main Street Gyros has thankfully risen from the ashes of a 2013 fire. If you’re dining in, you get free lentil soup as you wait to be served the salty, sweet mess of the namesake lamb and beef gyro (with a side of Greek fries topped with feta).
