The restaurant imports authenticity from the Mexican countryside. Wood-fire roasted and grilled salsas with chips are just a start. For appetizers, guacamole made tableside and crispy empanadas are winners. As for entrées, the chicken mole might be the best north of the border—tender, smoky meat in a stunningly complex sauce.
