Alert! Awesome new fast-paced documentary all about the food revolution in the SF Bay Area. Do you have an urban farming or food policy hero? Then I pretty much guarantee they’re in this 70-minute flick, Edible City.

And if you don’t, it’s a great primer on what’s broken about conventional agriculture and all the local champions setting out to create a new culture around fresh food grown right in our cities. It includes some personal favorites, like John Bela of Rebar, Jim Montgomery of Green Faerie Farm, Willow Rosenthal of City Slicker Farms, Antonio Roman-Alcala of Alemany Farm, and Eric Holt-Giménez of Food First.
