Reservations are now available for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland–but there’s a catch

If you want the chance to be one of the first to take the Millennium Falcon out on a smuggling mission, you’ll need more than piloting skills, more than a Wookie sidekick, more than even a good blaster by your side.

You’ll need to have booked a room at a Disneyland Resort property.

In order to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge between its opening on May 31 and June 23, you’ll be required to have a reservation for the ride. Unfortunately, all stand-alone reservations got snapped up within hours of their being offered online the morning of May 2.

It’s still possible to get a slot, though. If you have a room booked at a Disneyland Resort hotel for a stay between May 31 and June 23, you will receive one Galaxy’s Edge pass per registered guest in your party. It’s not too late to make a reservation, but rooms will probably sell out, so we recommend making your hotel arrangements now.

If you miss out on this early window for experiencing Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, just be patient. After June 23, the Star Wars land will be open to general park visitors. You won’t need reservations then, just patience for waiting in long lines for this hotly-anticipated new attraction.
