Better than the Kindle: Libraries Are Back
 
 

Turn off your tablets, people, because the library is cool again. Even if you can’t remember the last time you read a book with paper pages, there are 3 reasons the new West Hollywood Library is worth a visit: 1) Seriously bad-ass Shepard Fairey murals (remember his HOPE posters from the 2008 Obama campaign? That guy.) 2) Rooftop tennis courts (it’s L.A., after all). Think literary country club. 3) A coffee bar. Now that Borders is gone, here’s hoping the library swoops in to fill the void of united books and brews. Jonathan Moore
