Pomegranate Moscow Mule

Total Time
10 mins

The “Moscow” in this drink’s title is a nod to its base liquor, vodka, and some say the “Mule” refers to the kick supplied by the ginger beer. It’s traditionally served in a copper mug, which you can find in kitchen stores or online (the ones shown here are from Moscow Copper Co.).  The addition of pomegranate juice adds tartness and sweetness to the drink while the rosemary adds a earthy flavor to round out a typical moscow mule recipe.

 1/2 cup unsweetened pomegranate juice
 1 cup vodka
 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
 2 bottles ginger beer
 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
 1 lime, sliced crosswise
 4 rosemary sprigs
1

Mix pomegranate juice, vodka, and lime juice in a pitcher. Fill 4 copper mugs halfway with ice, then pour in pomegranate mix. Top each drink with ginger beer to fill, then garnish with pomegranate seeds, lime slices, and sprigs of rosemary.
