La Mauresque (Pastis with Almond Syrup)
Ingredients
2 tablespoons (1 oz.) pastis (anise-flavor liqueur)
1 tablespoon almond syrup (orgeat)
1 or 2 ice cubes (optional)

Pour pastis into a tall glass. Add almond syrup, 5 ounces cold water, and ice.
