Picnic Set

This set is so beautiful and I love how the rattan weave came out. We chose elephant grass, which is natural and durable, to adorn the casing of the glasses. There’s a carafe, a tumbler, and a high ball glass, and they all look beautiful on a picnic table when you’re serving iced tea or a refreshing summer drink.

Linen Tablecloth

I love the subtle stripes on this tablecloth. It really adds a touch of whimsy to the table while still being totally classic. It’s 100% linen, which gets softer the more you wash it—and with all the outdoor entertaining I plan to do this summer, it’s sure to go through a cycle or two.

Woven Tote

I carry this tote everywhere! I use it as a purse, a baby bag, and a market bag. These bags were woven in Ghana by a co-op of women in the Bolgatanga region, and the handmade quality is truly unparalleled. The two-tone leather stitching on these handles is really beautiful, and I love how naturally tanned vegetable leather wears over time, lending a really nice natural patina.

Alpaca Summer Pillow

When we released the home collection, the alpaca pillows quickly became one of my favorite pieces. We worked with a cooperative in Peru owned by a mother and her daughters to develop all of our alpaca pieces, and they came out so beautifully. It was important to me to work with a woman-owned company, and their work is incredible. For summer, I wanted a lighter-weight pillow with the same soft touch as the winter version. I love layering these on my daybed and window seat.

Alpaca Summer Blanket

Another great alpaca piece. I love being cozy, even in the summer, and this one is a great lightweight throw and adds texture to any setting. It’s got a cotton-like taffeta weave, so it’s not too warm but it still gives a little comfort—perfect for summer nights outside around a fire.

Decorative Woven Basket

I use baskets for everything in my home, from storing towels by the pool, sundries in the guest bathroom, and wood by the fireplace. These are woven by the same women that did the market tote and basket bag, and I love how the three sizes can nest together when you’re not using them to store anything.

Braided Straw Hat

Nothing says summer quite like a straw hat. I love to garden and be outdoors and I love a hat that I can get my hands dirty in and then easily transition to running errands or going out to the market. This is made of a natural braided wheat straw that wears in beautifully, making for a piece that really feels like you’ve lived with over time.

Summer Sweater

I love wearing sweaters, even in the summer. The fisherman might be one of our most iconic styles, and in super-soft cashmere, this is the ultimate layer. Perfect to throw on over a slip dress or sundress or tie over your shoulders.

Espadrille Mules

I loved our espadrille sneakers so much for spring, I wanted to make a summer version. One of my favorite silhouettes, the mule is perfect for slipping on and off when you’re spending time outside on sunny days. Natural linen is such a great summer fabric, and I love the delicate woven jute trim at the sole. I’ll definitely be wearing these well past summer!

Saddle Bag

Our first handbag collection was such a success, and I’m so in love with this rich cognac color. I grew up riding horses, and the leather-wrapped rope trim at the shoulder strap is a nod to my love for equestrian style. Those kinds of details are so important to me, it adds something to an outfit without distracting from the woman wearing it.
