You Can Start Shopping These Amazing Amazon Prime Day Deals Now

Here are the home deals worth looking out for

Marie Salcido

The 100 million-plus members know that Amazon Prime is the best way to shop online, thanks to lightning-fast free delivery with the annual membership on essentially anything you could possibly want. New planters for the porch? Done. A 6-in-1 Instant pot to make weeknight cooking a possibility? No problem. A last-minute birthday gift for your sister-in-law? Take your pick from any category, be it jewelry or electronics—easy.

But it gets better! Prime Day, which kicks off on Monday, July 16, puts tons of goodies on sale. As in, more than one million items. This year, the e-commerce giant is rolling out even more deals on a handful of exclusive brands, and best of all, you don’t have to wait until Monday to shop them. Here are our tips for making the most of Prime Day 2018.

Start Early

Through Sunday, Amazon exclusive home brands, Rivet and Stone & Beam, will be marked 25 percent off, with some products jumping to 30 percent on Monday. Our favorites include a mid-century inspired sofa and a sleek wood and metal hairpin desk from Rivet’s space-saving furniture and decor collection, along with Stone & Beam’s dreamy, yarn-dyed linen duvet set (pictured above). For high-quality, everyday household items like charging stations and kitchen essentials, AmazonBasics is also already offering discounts as well, along with cleaning supplies and kitchen brands Presto! and Solimo.

Shop New Products

Shop the things you didn’t even know you needed. Amazon is rolling out a selection of new products that will launch on the site on Prime Day, across the categories of home, electronics, baby items, toys, fashion, beauty, food, and books never before available on the site, including a handful of items from Rivet and Stone & Beam.

Our picks? A road-trip friendly barbecue from Coleman, with three burners, two built-in side tables, and a fold-up and roll capability so you can grill on-the-go. We also love the Boxlock— a smart padlock system that protects your deliveries and sends you notifications to ensure your packages arrive safely and on time. And for an easy living room refresh, Stone & Beam’s globally-inspired throw pillows mix and match perfectly for an eclectic look.

Earn Grocery Dollars

Many good perks have come from Amazon’s acquisition of Whole Foods Market—including slashed prices on produce and other goods, and free delivery for Prime members in select cities. The company announced another initiative this week to enhance your weekly grocery run: when Prime members spend $10 at the Whole Foods from July 11 to 17, they’ll receive a $10 credit on Amazon. Newbies in the Whole Foods delivery game will also receive $10 off their first order and an additional $10 off a future order if they shop before July 17. Hundreds of items throughout the store will also be marked an additional 10 percent off, including organic strawberries and sustainably-source Allegro coffee.

Prime Day begins at noon (PT) and continues through July 17, offering days of deals across the globe. Happy shopping!
