Since when did upcycling wine corks into home decor become the Western wino version of stacking red plastic cups to show off how much Busch Light you can put down at a frat party? We drink a lot of wine in the West–and, yes, we’re proud of our Napa cabs and our Willamette pinots–but I’m officially calling a moratorium on DIY projects using wine corks.
That is, right after I just make this giraffe cork sculpture… then, really, everyone stop.
